I couldn’t get the memories out of my head of visiting the houses of my friends when I was a child. The memory that persists is seeing the wallpaper they had in their home. Remember in the 80s? The wallpaper with stripes and neutral backgrounds? My family didn’t have the “fancy” wallpaper. Add on top of this the memory of old fashioned silhouettes. My grand niece contributed this one to complete the memory. Now I’m happy to release the feelings and memories of that time in this original piece.
